Remote browsers for automation · Early access

A fleet of real browsers, one socket away.

Launch Chrome, Edge, Brave, Firefox, Camoufox, WebKit and more on Linux, or browsers on hardware Android phones and iOS WebView. One API call returns a WebSocket URL; drive it with Playwright from any language. Buy dedicated or shared threads, metered to the second — or start on the free Community plan.

Every browser flavor. Every channel.

Pick the engine per request and the release channel per session. The versions below are read from the fleet itself, and nodes update as vendors ship. All browsers in detail →

Playwright or CDP — your choice. Drive Linux sessions with Playwright's browserType.connect(wsUrl) in Node, Python, Java, .NET or Go, or launch Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Yandex or Chromium with "cdp": true and use Puppeteer, connectOverCDP or any CDP client. Android sessions speak CDP too.

Phone browser engines. Not emulated user agents.

Android sessions run on real Android hardware; iOS sessions run in an iOS WebView. Either way the page is rendered by the phone's own browser engine — not a desktop browser pretending to be one. Phone engines in detail →

Android

Early access · hardware

Real Android phones — hardware, not emulators — that you drive over CDP with Playwright's connectOverCDP or Puppeteer.

  • Chrome150 · Playwright, Puppeteer
  • Chrome Custom Tabsin-app Chrome
  • Samsung Internet30 · Playwright, Puppeteer
  • Opera101 · Puppeteer
  • Android WebView152 · in-app WebView
  • Firefox155 · remote debugging protocol

Country presets match locale, timezone and GPS to your exit IP, so the phone doesn't contradict its own network.

iOS WebView

Early access

An iOS WebView, driven through cdpfleet's session API, not Playwright or Puppeteer.

  • Navigate & wait for loadin the WebView
  • Evaluate JavaScriptin the page
  • Full rendered DOMouterHTML
  • Native screenshotsfrom the WebView
  • Own cookies & storageper session, incl. HttpOnly
  • Own proxy & countryper session

Pages always render as a phone. Apple's own sites (apple.com, iCloud) load empty through a proxy — open them without one.

You buy threads, not machines.

A thread is a slot for a running browser. Buy them dedicated — reserved for continuous use — or shared, where each thread adds browser-minutes to your account pool. Either way, time is metered to the second. How threads work →

Dedicated threads

Reserved capacity for continuous, always-on workloads. No daily minutes, no hourly limit and no leases: a browser can run for as long as you need it, up to 24 hours per session.

Browser-minutes
Unlimited
Idle timeout
60 s, up to 24 h on request
Best for
Steady, always-on workloads
Dedicated threads in detail →

Shared threads

Pooled capacity for bursty and scheduled work. Each purchased thread contributes browser-minutes per day to your shared account pool, and you can run as many browsers at once as you have threads.

Browser-minutes
60–480 per thread per day, pooled
Rolling hour
Up to 25% of the daily pool
Best for
Bursty or scheduled jobs
Shared threads in detail →

Heavier browsers take more threads

  • Linux headless · 1 threadAny desktop engine without a display
  • Linux headful · 2 threadsFull rendering on a virtual display, the default
  • Mobile WebView · 3 threadsAndroid WebView, iOS WebView
  • Mobile Chrome · 4 threadsChrome and other full browsers on a phone
Example: Shared 240 · 10 threads
9 / 10 in use
5 sessions

Metered in thread-seconds

Usage is threads × seconds. A headful session that runs 3 min 12 s uses 6 min 24 s of thread time. Nothing is rounded up to the minute or the hour.

Shared threads: one account pool

10 threads of Shared 240 put 2,400 browser-minutes a day in your pool, up to 600 in any rolling hour. Spend them on a few heavy browsers or many light ones. The pool resets at midnight UTC.

The clock stops with the socket

Billing starts when your browser is ready and stops the moment either side closes the WebSocket. A session you never connect to ends after 60 seconds.

Pricing

Start free on the Community plan. Then two paid products: shared threads give you pooled browser-minutes at a low price; dedicated threads reserve capacity that is yours to run continuously. Billed monthly, per thread. Pricing in detail →

Community — free

Free forever, for trying cdpfleet and small projects: every browser on the fleet, with proxies included. No trial expiry and no charges — you verify a card once, one account per card. Invite-only while we open up: join the waitlist.

Launch interactive

In the dashboard's code generator, pick a browser, proxy and options, enter a start page and click Launch interactive: the browser opens in your dashboard with full mouse and keyboard control. The same settings are one click away as code. Over the API it's "start_url".

Launch interactive in detail →

Watch or take control

Any running session can be watched or taken over — by you, a teammate or a person solving a captcha — while your code keeps running. VNC for headful browsers, a screencast for headless Chromium.

Recordings and profiles

Every session can be recorded and replayed from the dashboard, and persistent profiles keep logins, cookies and local storage between sessions — sign in once, reuse it from code.

How it works

Four steps and no browser infrastructure on your side. How it works in detail →

  1. Request a browser

POST to the engine you want with your API key.

    POST /camoufox/session
  2. Get your socket

You get back a single-use WebSocket URL.

    wss://router01.cdpfleet.com/…
  3. Connect your code

Use it like a local browser: pages, contexts, network interception, screenshots.

    firefox.connect(wsUrl)
  4. Close to stop billing

Closing the socket frees the browser at once. Every session's start and end is in your usage log.

    await browser.close()
