Session recordings
See what went wrong at step 7.
Sessions are recorded as video you can replay from the dashboard — no code, nothing to install. Use it to debug a failed run, to show a run to someone else, or to keep evidence of what a page displayed.

What is recorded
- Headful sessions (the default): the browser's whole display, from the moment it starts.
- Headless sessions launched with
"cdp": trueor"live_view": true: the page, from its screencast. - Other headless sessions are never recorded.
- Opt out of any launch with
"record": false— for pages with personal or sensitive data.

A recording plan is a monthly subscription priced from the storage it can hold; choose limits and quality in the dashboard and the price is shown before you pay. Recordings aren't part of the free Community plan.
Watching and downloading
- Each recorded session has a ▶ Video button in Recent sessions and on the Sessions page; videos stream from a private, short-lived link and can be downloaded.
- Over the API:
GET /v1/me/recordings,GET /v1/me/recordings/{id}/urlandDELETE /v1/me/recordings/{id}. - Videos are H.264 MP4 at one frame per second.
- Recordings are stored privately in Germany, visible only to your account, and deleted on the schedule above — oldest first when an account is over its minutes.
