cdpfleet vs Notte

A fleet of real browsers you drive with Playwright from five languages, against a browser platform for AI agents with Chromium sessions, agents, serverless functions and credentials in one place. Prices, limits and features side by side.

Notte is a browser platform for AI agents: cloud Chromium sessions you control through its SDK's AI operations (observe, execute, scrape) or by connecting Playwright or Puppeteer over CDP, plus browser agents, serverless browser functions with schedules, credential vaults, personas and managed logins. Usage is paid from credits — a one-time grant on the free plan, a monthly allowance on paid plans. cdpfleet is a fleet of 12 real desktop browsers launched with one HTTPS call and driven with the Playwright protocol from five languages, with per-second metering and published prices.

Browsers12 — Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, Naver Whale, Yandex Browser, Chromium, Patchright, Rebrowser, Camoufox, Firefox, WebKit, plus hardware Android phones and iOS WebView in early access. Chrome with stable, beta and dev channels and pinned previous majors.Chromium or Chrome (browser_type; nightly and "turbo" variants listed as experimental), with a generated recent Chrome desktop fingerprint. No other engines or version choice documented.
How you connectPlaywright protocol: connect(wsUrl) with the matching Playwright client from Node.js, Python, Java, C# or Go — all contexts you like. Or "cdp": true on Chromium-based browsers for Puppeteer and connectOverCDP (CDP & Puppeteer).Python and TypeScript SDKs with AI operations on the page; a CDP URL for Playwright connectOverCDP and Puppeteer. "Each Notte session runs a single browser context" — new_context() isn't supported over CDP. Also a CLI and an MCP server.
Session lengthUp to 24 h (shared threads: also capped by your remaining daily minutes). Idle timeout 120 s by default, up to 10 min on shared threads and 24 h on dedicated.Maximum session duration 15 min (Free), 120 min (Developer), 300 min (Startup), custom on Enterprise. Idle timeout 3 minutes by default, at most 30.
MeteringPer second, as thread-seconds: a headless browser is 1 thread, headful 2. Billing stops when the WebSocket closes. Prices per thread are on the pricing page.Credits: browser sessions $0.01 per hour, browser functions $0.05 per hour, "rounded by billing policy" (per minute with a 1-minute minimum, per Notte's own comparison post); LLM tokens at provider price without markup.
PlansFree Community plan (invite-only for now): 2 threads, 60 browser-minutes per thread a day, 15-minute sessions, proxies included. Paid from $5.00/month (5 shared threads, 60–480 browser-minutes a day per thread); dedicated threads for 24/7 use at $5.00/thread/month. Pricing.Free: $10 of credits once (no expiry), no card. Developer $20/month with $20 of credits. Startup $100/month with $100 of credits, bring your own LLM keys and proxies. Enterprise custom: SSO, SLAs, HIPAA, on-premise. Monthly credits expire each cycle; purchased top-ups don't.
ConcurrencyThe threads you buy: 5 to 10,000 (more on request), 2 on the free Community plan; each session takes 1–4 threads by type.5 (Free), 25 (Developer), 100 (Startup) concurrent browsers, the same for agents and functions; custom on Enterprise.
ProxiesBring your own HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5 proxies — single, pool, or per-host rules (proxy_rules) — swap a running session's proxy live, see traffic per destination host and per rule; traffic through them is free. Or the cdpfleet residential proxy: 4 tiers from $0.50 to $5/GB from one prepaid balance ($5 free credit), mixable per host — e.g. Tier 4 for CDN assets, Tier 1 for pages. A launch without a proxy uses the free Community proxy — best effort, no guarantees.Residential proxy on by default (US exit, or a country code), $10/GB; one proxy per session. Your own HTTP/HTTPS proxy only on Startup and above, metered at $3/GB with 70% credited back (you pay 30%). Tailscale tailnet routing for private services.
StealthReal browsers by default (genuine Chrome, Edge, Brave…), headful by default, and three stealth builds — Patchright, Rebrowser, Camoufox — on every plan. One fingerprint family (recent desktop Chrome), timezone and locale following the proxy exit; CAPTCHA solving on by default (reCAPTCHA v2, hCaptcha, Turnstile, press-and-hold, text); ad blocking on by default; "advanced stealth" for approved workspaces only; Cloudflare Web Bot Auth signing.
Watching a sessionLive view with human takeover — Watch / Take control in the dashboard, or a link from the API — and Launch interactive: open any browser on a start page straight into live view from the dashboard's code generator (start_url over the API). Session recordings as MP4 (480p free, 720p or 1080p on a plan), and JPEG frames to your code with page.screencast.Live viewer (shareable signed link, valid 12 h), embeddable in your app; CDP debugger view; MP4 replay of every session.
PersistencePersistent profiles keep cookies, local storage and IndexedDB between sessions (paid plans); Playwright storageState; keep_alive to reconnect to the same browser on dedicated threads.Profiles: cookies, local storage and session storage, saved on close (persist) or at any time; cookie files; credential vaults, personas (identities with email and 2FA) and managed logins.
Agent toolingA hosted MCP server at cdpfleet.com/mcp — add it in Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini and sign in with OAuth — or npx cdpfleet-mcp; SDKs for Node.js, Python and Go; Playwright works with any agent framework or LLM.Browser agents with structured output and replays, agent-to-function conversion, scheduled serverless functions, Fetch and Search APIs, MCP server and framework integrations.
Examples58 cases run on production in five languages, all on GitHub with their output.Guides, templates and examples for Python and TypeScript.

Which one, when

Pick Notte if…

  • You build AI agents and want agents, scheduled browser functions, credential vaults and email/2FA personas from one vendor.
  • Your sessions are short and few, and a credit allowance with a very low browser-hour rate covers them.
  • You want CAPTCHA solving and ad blocking on by default, or need HIPAA or on-premise on Enterprise.

Pick cdpfleet if…

  • The site must see a specific real browser or version — Chrome channels, Edge, Brave, Opera, Firefox, WebKit, Camoufox — or a phone.
  • You bring your own proxies on any plan, free of charge, with per-host rules — or buy residential traffic from $0.50/GB.
  • You use several browser contexts per session, or the Playwright protocol from Java, C# or Go.
  • Sessions run for hours or around the clock: up to 24 h each, dedicated threads at a flat monthly price.
  • You want to start free — the Community plan includes proxies — and try a browser in live view before writing any code.

Try it

The quickstart is one HTTPS call and five lines of Playwright; the code builder writes the launch for any browser and option set in your language.
